Pasta casserole with smoked ham and aubergine

The pasta casserole with smoked ham and aubergine is a simple dish for a bigger crowd. It practically makes itself in the oven. The reason why it ended up on the Arkea Restaurant Nereidi menu is primarily its excellent taste, which, of course, is based on Valio Koskenlaskija®.

300 g raw penne
½ aubergine diced
 ½ courgette in strips
300 g smoked ham in strips
½ bundle chives
1 tsp. salt
1 l Valio Eila® milk beverage
4 dl Valio cooking cream lactose-free
200 g Valio Koskenlaskija® strong lactose-free cheese

To spread on top
1 dl breadcrumbs

Measure the raw pasta into a casserole. Mix the diced aubergine, stripped courgette and ham, chives, and salt in a bowl. Mix in the filling with the pasta. Add the cheese and liquids. Mix up the pasta and sauce in the casserole. Spread the breadcrumbs on top. Bake at 180 degrees for 30–40 minutes. Let sit for a moment before serving.
